Revitalising old twist

I'm in the process of keeping my hair in two strand twist for a while,i have had them in for two weeks and they start to get old. Lately I have a very tight schedule and not much time to seat around and care for my hair,I was looking for a fast and efficient way to keep my hair tide and healthy.

I decided to use the ACTIVILONG Paris products from the line called Acticurl Hydra, these products are parabens,sulphate,silicone free.

1• I washed my hair with the Acticurl Hydra curl activator shampoo

2• I used the Acticurl Hydra conditioning haircare Mask to nourish my hair while in twists

These are the results I obtained and I'm quite pleased.

How to do a perfect braid out without the use of heat

Hi beautiful fashionistas and naturalistas.

I hope you are all having a splendid weekend.

For my perfect braid out without using heat on my hair,I did the following:

1. I co-washed my hair using a conditioner

2. I used a towel to remove excess water

3. I applied Ziyanda's Mango Shea Marula butter

4. I braided (chunky braids) my hair into 5 parts,and let it air dry overnight

5. The next day,I used Ziyanda's Amla & hibiscus hair oil to help me easily unveil the braids and give it shine while keeping my hair moisturised.

Espero que todos vocês estão tendo um fim de semana excelente . Como obter um Braid Out perfeito sem o uso de calor no meu cabelo , eu fiz o seguinte:

1. Lavei o cabelo apenas com condicionador

2. Eu usei uma toalha para remover o excesso de água

3. Apliquei a manteiga Ziyanda Mango Shea Marula nas pontas do cabelo

4. Separei o cabelo em 5 partes iguais e Trançei ,deixei secar ao ar livre durante a noite

5. No dia seguinte , eu usei o óleo para cabelos da Ziyanda Amla&hibiscus para desfazer as tranças facilmente sem quebrar os cachos/caracóis e dar brilho ao mesmo tempo hidratar o meu cabelo .

I have done a twist out on my hair for a quick escape to my local coffee shop.

Im in love with this jacket.

I used the product below on my hair,its a Korean Organic Protein Leave in conditioner that contains olive oil and tea tree oil this product doesn't only makes the hair soft and moisturised but it smells amazing. I bought this product at my local winners store.Those with natural hair will understand my enthusiasm over this product due to the fact that its not easy to find a product that will work well with our hair.

The perfect Hair Booster

Our hair booster consists of four very nutritious ingredients that you can find on your kitchen.

One may ask what is so nutritious on this products that will give my hair a boost well ladies and gents lets start.

AVOCADO - this fruit besides being delicious its very rich in vitamin B and E,vitamin B6,B7,B8 they prevent hair loss,while vitamin B9(folic acid) it helps in maintaining the natural colour of your hair for a longer period meaning it delays the greys.

YOGURT - it is a natural protein,our body,nails and hair needs proteins to reconstruct/build its tissue.

HONEY - yum yum this delicacy besides having so many good things about it,it is an antibacterial,perfect for dry hair because honey is also a humectant it attracts moisture,so you are sure to have your hair moisturised and shiny.

CASTOR OIL - it promotes hair growth,conditions the hair,great for dry scalp castor oil moisturises the scalp,for those with split ends there you have a remedy. Tell me hat else can we ask for.

COCONUT MILK - it leaves the hair with a silk texture and very easy to manage

reminder : all of the above products can be used independently .

Quantity of ingredients needed for the mask

1/2 avocado

1/3 cup greek yogurt

1/3 cup coconut milk

1 tea spoon of honey

1 tea spoon of castor oil

How to prepare

Add the ingredients together gradually,mix well until all is dissolved,you can use a blender but i used a wooden spoon it also does the job.

This looks so yummy

how to apply the booster mask on the hair

section the hair previously washed as you wish

apply the mask,cover with a plastic cap/shower bonnet,leave it for approximately 20-30 minutes and then rinse,you know what it really doesn't hurt if you leave it in for longer time.

et voila final result,shiny,healthy hair clean and moisturised scalp,happy me

Believe it or not i had done this hairstyle after removing my twists that i had for a couple of days,since the process of the removal of the twists was long i decided to do this hair style to not further stress my hair. I didn't use a comb just my fingers as i didn't feel it was necessary to use one.

Acredite ou não, eu tinha feito este penteado depois de retirar os twists que eu tinha por um par de dias, uma vez que levou muito tempo o processo de remoção dos twists eu decidi fazer este penteado para não forçar ainda mais o meu cabelo. Eu não usei pente apenas meus dedos porque não achei necessário usar um.
